Bendigo Solar & Battery is a local enquiry and quoting service for solar panel installation, battery storage, combined solar and battery systems, EV chargers and solar repairs across Bendigo and Greater Bendigo, including Kangaroo Flat, Strathdale, Eaglehawk, Epsom, California Gully, Maiden Gully, Golden Square, Junortoun and Marong. The site is run by Yes Right Pty Ltd (ABN 91 664 546 061).

How it works.

You call (03) 9022 1391 or use the quote form. The job goes to a local solar and battery business that can price it. That business quotes you directly and is responsible for its own accreditation, electrical licence, insurance and workmanship. We don't charge you for the enquiry. Businesses we refer work to may pay us a referral fee.

• Accreditation: ask for the installer’s Clean Energy Council / Solar Accreditation Australia accreditation number and look it up on the register. The accredited person should be the one on your roof. Only an accredited installer using approved products can certify a system for STCs and the Solar Victoria rebate.
• Electrical licence: the electrical work must be done by a Victorian licensed electrician. You can check the licence through Energy Safe Victoria.
• Insurance: ask to see current public liability insurance in writing.
• Written quote: panel and inverter brand and model, system size in kW, battery usable kWh, and the STC discount as its own line.
• Approvals: Solar Victoria pre-approval and Powercor pre-approval should be in place before installation starts.
• Handover: a Certificate of Electrical Safety, the STC paperwork and the product warranties in writing.
• Payment: a small deposit is normal. Never pay the full amount before the system is installed and switched on.
