Five solar & battery services — sized for regional Victoria.
Bendigo has the roof space and the sun to make solar pay faster than almost anywhere in Victoria. We design every system to your actual power bills and north-facing roof — Tier-1 panels, quality inverters, and the right battery only when it stacks up. No overselling.
Solar panel installation
CEC-accredited install of Tier-1 panels (Trina, Jinko, REC) with Fronius or Sungrow inverters, sized to your bills and your roof.

Roof space and strong regional sun.
Bendigo homes — from the big lots in Strathdale and Junortoun to the new estates in Epsom and Maiden Gully — tend to have generous, unshaded north-facing roof space. That means we can fit a 6.6kW or 10kW array that generates more per panel than a cramped inner-Melbourne roof, so the payback period is shorter. We orient and tilt every array to squeeze out the most annual yield for your roof.
The rebate stack works in your favour.
Owner-occupiers in Greater Bendigo can claim the Solar Victoria rebate (up to $1,400) plus an interest-free loan, on top of the federal STC discount that is already built into the system price. Add a battery and the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program (from 1 May 2026) takes roughly another 25 per cent off storage. We handle every rebate application and the Powercor pre-approval so you just see the lower price.
Cold winters, hot summers and rising bills.
Bendigo’s cold winters drive high evening heating loads, and hot, dry summers run air-conditioners hard — both push power bills up. Solar covers the daytime, and a battery shifts cheap daytime sun into the expensive evening peak. With EV uptake climbing across the Loddon region, charging the car on your own solar is increasingly the cheapest fuel you can buy.
Where we work.
We install solar and batteries right across Greater Bendigo and the City of Greater Bendigo, plus the surrounding Loddon and Mount Alexander shires. If you’re within about 40 minutes of the GPO, we cover you.

Bendigo solar & battery FAQs.
How much does solar cost in Bendigo in 2026?
A quality 6.6kW system runs $5,000–$6,500 installed after STCs, and a 10kW around $8,500–$11,000. As an owner-occupier you may also claim the Solar Victoria rebate (up to $1,400) plus an interest-free loan, bringing a 6.6kW system down to roughly $3,000–$4,000 out of pocket. We give free fixed-price written quotes.
Am I eligible for the Solar Victoria rebate?
You must be the owner-occupier of an existing home, with combined household income under $210,000 (tightening to $150,000 from 1 July 2026) and a property value under $3 million. The system must be installed by a CEC-accredited installer using approved products — which is what we do. We handle the rebate application and Powercor pre-approval.
Should I add a battery now or later?
From 1 May 2026 the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes roughly 25 per cent (about $252 per usable kWh) off a home battery, so storage is far more affordable now. If your evening use is high or you want outage backup, add it with your solar. On a tight budget we install battery-ready solar today and you add storage later.
Do you handle the Powercor connection and paperwork?
Yes. Every grid-connected install needs Powercor pre-approval before we install and a connection notification afterwards. We lodge the pre-approval, design to the approved export limit (generally up to 5kW per phase) and set up the inverter for the flexible-export requirement on new VIC connections. You never deal with Powercor — we do.
Why does panel and inverter quality matter so much?
Your system is on the roof for 25 years, so the cheapest gear costs more long-term. We install Tier-1 panels and reliable inverters that hold output, carry real warranties and have local support. Cut-price no-name inverters drop out in Bendigo’s summer heat and have no warranty backing once the installer vanishes. We size to your bills, not to oversell kilowatts.
